Women in NICE network (WIN)
Helping women reach their full potential

About us
The Women in NICE network (WIN) is a safe, inclusive community for all NICE staff, regardless of gender, dedicated to empowering women to achieve their full potential.
We strive to break down stereotypes, advocate for initiatives that reduce inequities, and support women both personally and professionally by:
- creating and fostering a safe space for open discussions about issues affecting women
- collaborating with other equality, diversity, and inclusion networks and the NEDG to reduce inequities
- supporting career and talent development initiatives for women
- promoting women’s health initiatives to reduce workplace inequities
- encouraging future learning initiatives focused on women’s issues.
Making a real difference

We set out to understand the issues that are the biggest concerns to women at NICE and identified 3 areas of interest to our members.
We believe these topics can make a real difference to large cohorts of staff and to a smaller group dealing with acutely isolating and traumatic experiences whilst at work.
Women's health in the workplace: perimenopause and menopause.
Women's health in the workplace: fertility treatment and miscarriage.
Breaking down barriers to career progression for women working part time.
